Cherrelle, Founder of Seven Senses Collection
Hi, I’m Cherrelle- founder of Seven Senses Collection, mother of three, and someone who deeply values the power of slowing down. This brand was born from my own search for more balance and calm in the everyday chaos of life.
Seven Senses began as a personal calling- a need to slow down, breathe more deeply, and find moments of stillness amidst the beautiful chaos of life. As a parent to a daughter and later twins- a boy and a girl- my days were (and still are) full. During my twin pregnancy, we discovered our son has a neurological condition. That experience shifted so much for me. It deepened my understanding of how our environment, and especially our sensory experiences, play a crucial role in how we feel, connect, and cope.
At the same time, I was immersed in my work in education, where I’ve spent over 15 years supporting children and young people - particularly those with neurodiverse needs, learning differences, medical and mental health needs. As a former SEN nurture group lead and now in my work offering bespoke support to individuals- I’ve always focused on creating inclusive, responsive spaces that prioritise emotional regulation, relational connection, and sensory integration.
These two worlds - my family life and professional path- came together to shape what Seven Senses Collection is today: a collection of wellness items inspired by the power of our senses to engage, calm, centre, and reconnect us.
Along the way, I studied herbalism more deeply- building on my family’s roots in natural remedies. I was fascinated by how plants and oils could support not just physical wellness, but emotional and mental wellbeing too. These tools helped me nurture myself during the hardest and most joyful seasons- and I felt called to share them.
